The nail salon
I love getting pedicures. I have not always done it, it has just recently become an obsession for me. I mostly love just sitting in the massage chair with my feet in a tub full of water, whirling around, and then when rub they lotion up my leg. They are so nice.
I went last week to Walmart and had a pedi done there. I took Trevor with me, he also loves getting pedis. There was one crazy guy in there. He kept asking me for my number. I had on my wedding ring and a kid with me, but he insisted we should "hang out" together. I don't have time to hang out. He also kept asking these little 16-year-old girls for their numbers too and one of them called him old. I could not hold back. I started to laugh so hard I almost choked.

How funny! My post today was about beauty also. I went to get a pedi once with a friend of mine (whose name was interestingly enough, also Amber) and lost it when the woman massaging my legs started smacking the living crap out of me! She just kept whacking my thighs and I was doing everything I could to stay cool about it and not fall out of the chair. The smacking was part of the massage, I'm sure, but it took me by surprise and I laughed for days over it. Now that you mention it, I haven't had a pedi in over a year. I think I should probably add that to the list.

Went on Sat, but the wait was over and hour - cant' stand to wait!! So my nails and toes are past due!

I get bi-annual pedis (never get manis...don't trust them to do them right ever since one Vietnamese nail salon gave me the most butchered looking french mani ever) and the last time I went the guy giving it totally cracked up because the foot scrub made me ticklish. Then afterwards the owner asked if I wanted a brow wax (must have seen the face forest a-growin') and she took me to some back room for it. It felt so sneaky! She did a good job though.
